VEGANIZER BXL

Veganizer BXL, the first European chapter, has got a lot of work to in Brussels. Compared to other big capitals in the world, Brussels is still lacking in vegan offer.
We do have a growing audience of dedicated vegans, contacts with leading chefs and entrepreneurs in sustainable food, currently working on the development of our own Brussels Beerburger, and planning a vegan street festival in the Spring of 2018.

With the support of the city of Brussels and Beyond Carnism, Veganizer BXL is hosting a food festival like no other, featuring the most delicious vegan food, stylish vegan clothing, cruelty-free make-up and more.

Leonoor, CHAPTER LEADER

Leonoor is an recent architecture graduate from Brussels. She is a longtime vegetarian and lifetime vegan, passionate about everything ecological, social and venturous. In a never-ending attempt to walk this world gently, being vegan was a logical decision in caring for this planet. It so turns out that the most healthy diet is also the most ecological, and also the kindest. After seeing that many restaurants needed help in creating delicious healthy plant-based cuisine, she launched Veganizer BXL and got organised for what she likes to call, 'veganized crime'.

Louise, Head Chef

Louise has been passionately cooking for over 6 years, gaining experience in Italy, Spain and France.
She followed an omni training as a cook and worked at Brussels restaurants Henri and Henri & Agnes (no, they're not related) and even managed her own catering company for a while. As a way of exploring her self-consciousness, Louise got more and more into plant-based cuisine, finding it a delicious and self-fulfilling style of cooking. She's not one to say no to an adventure, so when Leonoor asked her to be her partner in crime, she was all in.

MAY 24: BENELUX OFFICIALLY VEGANIZED

Veganizer BXL presents... Vegan After Work Tapas. Benelux is a trendy cocktail bar in downtown Brussels. The look of the place is very modern, stylish, yet cosy. Join us for top notch cocktails, tasty vegan tapas and funky beats by Vampire Vinyl.

APRIL 24: LES SUPER FILLES DU TRAM OFFICIALLY VEGANIZED

Veganizer BXL is launching an incredibly tasty vegan burger, 100% plant-based and, in true Brussels style, infused with Belgian beer! For now, it will be exclusively available at the famous burger place Les Super Filles du Tram at Flagey.

DECEMBER 2: DELICATESSEN OFFICIALLY VEGANIZED FT. CHEF MARTA CEBRIAN 

On Friday the 2nd of December, chef Marta Cebrian served a vegan, organic and botanical inspired menu. Marta has travelled over the world cooking and learning from local cultures: China, Peru, US. Afterwards, she gained experience in star-restaurants DiverXO in Madrid, L'auberge de l'ill in France, Central in Peru and Bon-Bon in Brussels. She is currently is developing her own restaurant consultancy business in Brussels.

October 13: Comptoir royal officially veganized

Comptoir Royal is a recently opened brasserie-lounge on the Rue Royal. Classy and tasteful dishes are being served in a trendy environment. Chef Zakaria uses his Moroccan background to create wonderful flavour palets, and Veganizer Chef Louise Willems (Henri & Agnes) will collaborate with him in creating innovative plant-based versions of his signature dishes. ​
